Travel Guide To Harrison Hot Springs | Canada

We headed to our favourite getaway close by at Harrison Hot Springs for a weekend trip! Its a British Columbian town located an hour and half drive Vancouver. Harrison is the best place for anyone that’s looking to get out of the city to enjoy breathtaking views and fun activities such as watersports, boating and much more! Harrison Lake is a great place to launch your boat or jet ski; its fed by glacier water so not exactly warm enough to swim in most of the year. They do have long sandy beaches and an inflatable water park for the times when the lake is warm enough to swim!

Place To Stay

Harrison Beach Hotel

We stayed at Harrison Beach Hotel, its located in the middle of the beach and its the most centrally located hotel in town! Fortunately, we stayed in room 214 which is in our opinion the best room possible; it includes a super sized balcony (with outdoor furniture) and full kitchen. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant downstairs and features a swimming pool & hot tub. In terms of hotel cleanliness, it is superb and everything was done well! Loved it!

Places To Eat

Black Forest Restaurant

Our first official meal was authentic German cuisine. It wouldn’t be German without Bratwurst and Schnitzel, so we had both! Outside of Germany, this is a great place to taste a glimpse of Bavaria Germany!

Muddy Waters Cafe

A short 5 minute stroll from Harrison Beach Hotel, Muddy Waters Cafe serves a hand-full of breakfast items before 11am, but still serves lunches and light dinners throughout the day.

Harrison Corner Cafe

This is really a GEM hidden in the town. After you arrive, you’ve already driven past it! Great little eats for lunch on a sunny day. They also have a nice quiet patio area!
